'Wicked' trip to Philly & New York City!!

I am so spoiled:) I took a trip ALL BY MYSELF, no children, (even though I missed the children a lot!) to see Nate's sister Lisa in Philly!! We had so much fun!!! I was there for 4 nights, and had tons of fun shopping, eating, and going into the city!! I don't know why I get so excited to go back to NY, but I still love it and it was so much fun with just Lisa and I hanging out! Here are some pics I took...

Classic shot in the city:) I have NEVER seen NYC this crowded in my life!! It was so busy, I don't know what was up! I even heard a man say that he had never seen NY that crowded before!

I just love this guy. Thank you for standing out there covered in paint so we can pay you 2 dollars to continue standing there, so we could get a picture:)

Ok, I couldn't resist. This dude (I have no idea who or what it was) was ginormous. I made Lisa stand there to get a picture and then she made me stand there..but it was worth it, it's art right!****I censored it because we run a family blog******

This picture was taken while we were on our little carriage tour of Central Park! Except instead of being pulled by a horse, we were being pulled by a guy...but he was really nice and pretty funny.

On our Central Park Tour, our tour guide said that this fountain was the same fountain that the 'Friends' actors danced around in the previews to the tv show. Sweeeeet! We also saw where tons of other movies were filmed, like home alone! It actually was the first time I'd been through the entire park because we didn't have to walk. I'm glad we did it, it was worth the money:)

Here's Lisa and I headed to China Town to find some purses hiding behind trap doors in their little shops:)

Eating at Cheesecake Factory...man I love that place!

You can't go to NY without trying not to stare at this piece of work! This is what Lisa said about the Naked Cowboy, "It's like a train wreck, it's impossible to look away!" hahaha, funny! Seriously though, we watched him with women that would come up to take a picture with him and it was SO disturbing how he acted. Yucky! He was so gross!!! I am surprised he doesn't get into trouble!! Moving on....

Oh Wicked....I loved it TOOOOO much!! It was AWESOME!! Really, so awesome that I am posting two pictures of us posing with wicked paraphernalia...

Just waiting for the show to start. This was taken 1 minute before we got in trouble for using cameras....but seriously, everyone was taking pictures! Anyway, once again it was WICKED!! Oh, it was really good....I even got a little teary eyed as I was standing up clapping...I'm a geek, but it was so EMOTIONAL!! lol, Lisa was probably embarrassed to be seen with me.

Me and Lisa eating at Maxie's in NY! They had great french toast!
We had such a fun time in NYC! I even think about the lame hypnosis show we saw (and me getting called up on the stage for the opening magician show) and paying 4 dollars for the bottled water they said we had to buy, and smile:) lol
Thanks Lisa for letting me come and visit! I miss you already! I miss making you do things you don't want like butting in front of a family with children to get yourself a chocolate covered donut! lol (really I am laughing out loud) I also must admit that I miss your puppies too:) They are so cute! It was so nice to have a little break!! Well, in my case a long break..the longest ever without children, so thanks!!

Don't you just LOVE New York? I love it! I go there every year. We eat at Maxie's all the time! Wicked is awesome even though I was so tired when I seen it so I need to see it again, but I do like Tarzan better but I guess any disney musical is amazing. Did you see the naked cowgirl? She is an old ladie in a bikini, the cowboy is a hoot. Hey maybe we can go to NY for our girls trip next year hehe!

Oh cute!!! We did have such a fun time! I still get embarrassed at the thought of me butting in line just to get the chocolate donut I wanted.

Don't feel geeky. I got teary eyed when I saw Wicked in London too. I loved it soooo much!!! It was so good, and I was clapping so hard, I got tears in my eyes...I felt weird too, so now I'm glad to hear you did that too!!! :)

Thanks for going with us yesterday. That was really fun!
