My Baby is 11 Months Old!!

Noah's 11 Months! How can that be??? Wow, time really goes by so quickly! Since It's been awhile since I have updated on our little man, here is what he is up to these days!

Weight: 22lbs..can't remember height, and head circumference, but he is 50 percent in all categories, so he is at least proportional :)

And here are a few pictures...

Since both of my children wake up early, we have been going on bike rides, or just walking to the park and playing on the playground. Noah LOVES it and gets so excited to climb the stairs all by himself and loves to have me chase after him. He also loves the slide and swing!

He loves to 'help' me when I unload the dishwasher and in the time I turned to put something away in the cupboard, he had climbed up here all by himself! Yikes! (He sticks out his tongue when he climbs or concentrates, so you see his tongue a lot!)


He loves his Daddy! He loves to play ball with Nate and is actually really good at catching balls!

He still loves food! Any kind of table food for the most part. Ok, EVEN SPIDERS!! Yes, he ate a spider, my least favorite thing in the ENTIRE world! I saw him chewing on something and so I looked and it was the BIGGEST spider EVER! I pretty much freaked out, turned him upside down and tried shaking it out of him (I know mean, but at that moment that was the best thing I could think of because there was NO way I was going to stick my hand in there to fetch it!) After that idea failed, I grabbed a towel and used the towel to scrape out all the remaining pieces (yes, pieces) of spider left. I was so disgusted I couldn't function for at least 3 hours after. Nate told me I was being crazy and I told Noah I couldn't kiss him for at least a year. Ugh. Worst experience of my life thus far. We also had to buy a special crib bumper because we started finding little teeth marks on his crib. When he would wake up in the morning, or from naps, he would nibble on his crib until we came and got him.

He is a BIG mess maker! He finds joy in making messes for Mommy to clean up! He is even celebrating his mess in the picture! lol He's very proud.

Noah really enjoys books too. He is so cute when he sits there and goes through books one at a time. Yes, he made this mess too. He was determined to yank every book off the bookshelf. He likes the book he is looking at because it makes noises!

If you look closely, there is a cat outside the window. Well, we have a lot of stray cats around our house, and he LOVES them! He will yell and try his hardest to get out of my arms so he can try and touch them (even though I wouldn't let him because I don't particularly like dirty homeless cats, no offense) He sat by this window for quite some time just looking at the cat and reaching out for it.

He loves this little car! He is all smiles every time he walks with it! It's pretty funny to see him walk along with it because on the tile it goes really fast, so from behind his little chubby thighs are working hard to keep up with it! lol, it's pretty cute!

Here are his teeth! When the picture was taken he only had two up top and two on bottom. But now he has two more coming in on the bottom and two more on top...so all together he has 8!! (but you can only really see these 4)

He loves to share! It's so sweet too...if you ask for something he is eating, he gladly shares...unlike his sister....hopefully the sharing trait lasts!

Other fun fact about Noah:

**If he is ever missing, I head right for the stairs. He loves loves to climb the stairs and does it really quick (there is a gate, but sometimes it's let open)

**He sleeps with his favorite blanket and black puppy Tayla helped Grandma Karr pick out for him the day Tayla met him in the hospital (which Tayla remembers and reminds me OFTEN)

**He loves to dance with us

**He loves planes and will yell something and reach out to them or wave to them.

**He loves to wave at people that ARE NOT paying attention to him..if they are paying attention to him he sometimes gets bashful and snuggles up to me.

**He loves to make funny faces to make us laugh.

**He loves to be outside doing anything

**He cries 'Mommy' when he wants me, and 'Dadda' when he's upset...he talks, or babbles, when he's sad I won't let him do something he wants to do, almost like he's yelling at me:(

**He can sign more and please, but needs to work on them

**He has blown kisses twice, but only got the kiss part..and it was to Dez, whom he absolutely loves!

**He loves giving high fives, and helping me shut the microwave door after nuking water for his bottle.

**He loves toys, play food, balls, the easel, and any other thing he can play with. He is really good at playing by himself, or with Tayla.

Noah cracks us up when he sings into this little microphone! It's so funny because he takes it so serious! He can go on for a long time too. Future American Idol I guess:)

Noah has figured out how to open anything with a lid that pops up! It all started with his little puff snacks lid. Now I can give him anything, like this syrup, and he can open it:) He's always so proud too.

Noah is walking now too! This video was about a week ago, so he has improved and has taken about 10 steps! He even stood up all by himself from sitting down on the ground! It's so fun to see him walk! (Poor Tayla wasn't getting much attention, as you can hear in the background!)
